In the Gönen district of Balıkesir, a dog was dragged by a minibus to which it was tied by a rope around its neck.

The incident, which occurred on Friday, November 29, around 4:00 PM, was captured by another driver using a mobile phone camera as the dog was being pulled by a rope tied to the bumper of a moving minibus in the Sarıköy neighborhood.

Following a complaint from the driver, an investigation was launched, and it was determined that the individuals in the minibus were named Y.Ç. and A.A.

A FINE WAS IMPOSED

In an inspection conducted by the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, it was determined that the dog, which was found to be without a chip and identification, belonged to the suspects, who were fined 65,000 TL in administrative penalties, and the dog was taken under veterinary control.
