CITIZENS WHO NOTICED THE SITUATION DID NOT REMAIN INDIFFERENT
Citizens who noticed the hedgehog trapped inside an iron pipe in the Serinyol neighborhood of Antakya district reported the situation to the fire department.
RESCUED AFTER AN HOUR-LONG EFFORT
Upon the report, fire crews were dispatched to the area. The hedgehog, determined to be at a depth of approximately 1.5 meters by the fire department teams, was rescued after the group command teams spent an hour cutting the iron pipe.
RELEASED INTO NATURE WITH APPLAUSE
Thanks to the patient and careful intervention of the teams, the hedgehog was removed from its location unharmed and released into its natural habitat amid the applause of the citizens.
