With the Turkish Statistical Institute's (TurkStat) June data finalized, the July raise rate for civil servants and retired civil servants has been set at 13.52 percent. As millions of beneficiaries await their increased July salaries, the payment schedule for the 14-day salary difference and pension differences, along with the updated salary list based on titles, has been announced.
With the announcement of the June inflation data by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the July raise rate for millions of public officials and retirees has become clear. As the process of transferring new period salaries to accounts begins, beneficiaries are researching the dates when the 14-day salary difference and retiree salary differences will be paid.
WHAT IS THE JULY RAISE FOR CIVIL SERVANTS AND CIVIL SERVANT RETIREES?
With the 6-month inflation rate realized at 17.76 percent, the July raise for civil servants and civil servant retirees was set at 13.52 percent.
With the increase;
- The lowest civil servant salary: 70,224 lira,
- The lowest civil servant retiree pension: 31,527 lira.
WHEN WILL THE RAISED SALARIES AND THE 14-DAY SALARY DIFFERENCE BE PAID?
Civil servants receive their salaries in advance on the 15th of each month. Accordingly, the raised July salaries are expected to be credited to accounts as of July 15.
The 14-day salary difference payments for the period covering July 1-14 will be made after the relevant institutions complete their payroll and accounting processes.
Considering past practices; it is anticipated that the difference payments will be deposited in some institutions together with the July 15 salary, and in others by the third week of July. The exact schedule will be announced by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance or the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

WHEN AND HOW WILL 4C CIVIL SERVANT RETIREES RECEIVE THE SALARY DIFFERENCE?
Civil servant retirees (4C), unlike active civil servants, receive the salary difference arising directly from the raise, not a 14-day salary difference. The difference amounts retirees will receive vary according to their salary payment periods:
- Those receiving salary every month: Will receive a 1-month raise difference.
- Those receiving salary in the May-June-July period: Will receive a 1-month raise difference.
- Those receiving salary in the June-July-August period: Will receive a 2-month raise difference.
- Those receiving salary in the July-August-September period: Will receive a 3-month raise difference.
The difference payment to be made to retirees who received their salary at the beginning of the month based on the old tariff will vary between approximately 3,700 TL and 13,500 TL depending on the title. The lowest amount to be paid to a retiree entitled to a 3-month difference will be 11,265 lira.
Difference Payment Date for 4C Retirees:
The date when the 4C retiree salary differences will be deposited will be finalized with the payment schedule to be announced by the Social Security Institution (SGK). Payments are expected to start being credited to accounts in the last days of July.
