A 52-year-old woman found dead in her son's house in Eskişehir was determined to have been accidentally shot by her 19-year-old grandson. The grandson was arrested for "causing death by negligence."
A 52-year-old E.K., who was found shot with a gun in his son's house in the Tepebaşı district of Eskişehir on December 14, 2025, has been the subject of an investigation initiated by Public Prosecutor Muhammed Uçar.
HIS GRANDSON CAUSED HIS DEATH
Upon concluding that the woman's death was suspicious, Uçar initiated a study by the Gendarmerie Criminal Investigation Teams affiliated with the Provincial Gendarmerie Command.
As a result of the conducted research and examinations, it was determined that E.K.'s death occurred due to the accidental discharge of the gun held by his 19-year-old grandson M.K.
HE WAS ARRESTED
M.K., who was captured by the gendarmerie, was referred to the courthouse after his procedures. The suspect was arrested by the court on the charge of "causing death by negligence."
