The narcotics suspect, who was being chased by the police in Samsun, first had an accident, and then committed suicide in his vehicle by pointing the gun next to him to his head.

The driver of a car that fled from the police's 'stop' warning in Atakum district of Samsun crashed into the median. Soner Ozansoy, who was wanted for drug-related crimes, ended his life by shooting himself in the head.

The incident occurred around 20:45 in Yeşildere neighborhood, Anadolu Boulevard, Atakum district. Soner Ozansoy, who was wanted by the Narcotics Department of the Provincial Police Department, fled from the police's 'stop' warning with his car with license plate number 34 KHS 940.

HE POINTED THE GUN TO HIS HEAD AND PULLED THE TRIGGER

During the pursuit, a collision occurred between Ozansoy's car and the police. Ozansoy's car stopped after crashing into the median. Allegedly, Ozansoy pointed the gun he had with him to his head and fired during the intervention.

COULD NOT BE SAVED

Ozansoy, who was taken to Samsun Education and Research Hospital by medical teams, could not be saved despite the efforts of the doctors. An investigation has been launched into the incident, and it was learned that Ozansoy had been processed for drug use 2 days prior.
