A fight broke out among the minibus drivers who provide free transportation to the cemetery in Adana. A person, who came to the fight with a shotgun instead of getting involved, caused the death of Metin Zorluer, who was trying to separate the drivers. During the fight, 3 people were slightly injured and 6 people were arrested.

In a free shuttle service queue argument at the cemetery in Adana, one person was killed and three others were injured while trying to break up the fight. Six people who were taken into custody by the police were arrested. It was claimed that the suspect who used a firearm stated, "He was someone I loved and respected, I don't know when it happened." The incident took place on September 14th at the Akkapı bus stop in Akkapı neighborhood, located in the Seyhan district. Allegedly, a dispute over the free shuttle service queue to the cemetery occurred between the drivers Selçuk Keklik and Onur Nefis at the bus stop.

SHOT WHILE TRYING TO SEPARATE THEM

68-year-old Metin Zorluer, who witnessed the fight, intervened to separate them. Meanwhile, Hakan Keklik arrived at the scene with a pump-action shotgun and started firing randomly instead of joining the fight. As a result of the shots fired, Metin Zorluer collapsed in a pool of blood after being injured in the abdomen and chest. Emre S., Volkan V., and Fethi S., who were also at the bus stop, were injured in various parts of their bodies.

The injured individuals were taken to various hospitals in the city. Despite the interventions, Metin Zorluer could not be saved. It was reported that the condition of the other injured individuals was stable.

AFTER SHOOTING, HE SAID "HE WAS SOMEONE I LOVED AND RESPECTED"

The Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch initiated an operation to apprehend Hakan Keklik, who was involved in the fight and used a firearm. The suspects who fled, Hakan Keklik, Cüneyt Keklik, Selçuk Keklik, Efekan Keklik, Recep Nefis, and Onur Nefiz, were captured by the homicide police.

It was claimed that Hakan Keklik, who killed Metin Zorluer by firing with a pump-action shotgun, stated in his testimony, "I didn't want it to be like this. He was someone I loved and respected, I don't know when it happened. I didn't have any intention to harm him or the other injured individuals." After the procedures at the police station, the 6 suspects were sent to the court and subsequently arrested.
