In Germany, 67 people were detained and leader Erhan B. was arrested in an operation involving 1,200 police officers targeting the Hells Angels organization; the operation was reportedly initiated over a €100,000 extortion claim.

Details have emerged about a large-scale operation targeting the "Hells Angels" organization in Germany's North Rhine-Westphalia state. In raids involving 1,200 police officers, 67 people were detained, and assets worth approximately 250,000 euros were seized.

REASON FOR THE OPERATION REVEALED

According to a report by Ümit Erkan Demircan in Sabah, the operation was not linked to former leader Necati Arabacı, who is imprisoned in Turkey. The investigation was reportedly initiated based on allegations that Leverkusen Hells Angels leader Erhan B. extorted 100,000 euros from an individual. It was learned that the investigation process began on May 8, 2024, with a complaint filed by F.D., an employee at a vehicle inspection station. F.D. claimed that due to a debt, Erhan B. became involved and forced him to sign a promissory note.

GANGS ACTIVITIES REVEALED ONE BY ONE

Through technical and physical surveillance, police determined that the gang was involved in various crimes. It was found that an individual who could not get a refund after a failed cosmetic surgery contacted the gang, and gang members threatened the doctor. Additionally, it was recorded that one gang member was assaulted in a conflict with a Syrian criminal, and Erhan B. threatened a person with death in 2025, after which that person's home was targeted in an armed attack.

DAWN RAID WITH 1,200 POLICE

Following the evidence obtained, police teams conducted an operation at Erhan B.'s home in Langenfeld around 4:00 AM. Simultaneous raids were carried out at 55 different addresses across the state, with 1,200 police officers participating in the operation.

LEADER ARRESTED

As part of the operation, 67 suspects were detained, and Erhan B. was arrested on charges of membership in a criminal organization and extortion.

STATEMENT FROM ARABACI

Former leader Necati Arabacı, who is imprisoned in Izmir, stated that he has no connection to the operation in Germany and announced that he severed all ties with the Hells Angels in 2013.
