In Osmaniye, the rain that started in the evening hours and quickly intensified caused many streets and avenues to fill with water, flooding some businesses.
Heavy downpour in Osmaniye negatively affected life throughout the city.
ROADS TURNED INTO PONDS
Due to the water accumulation in the city center, vehicles were stranded at various points. While traffic could not move during the heavy rain, drivers and pedestrians experienced difficult moments.
CHILDREN PLAYED IN WATER PUDDLES
During the hours when the rain was effective, the Devlet Bahçeli Underpass was closed to traffic as a precaution. Teams from Osmaniye Municipality and fire department intervened in the vehicles stranded in the water accumulation areas. The vehicles left on the road were towed to safe areas.
On the other hand, it was observed that children were playing in the water puddles accumulated in the neighborhood streets.
