The last images of the Böcek family, consisting of four members who lost their lives in Istanbul due to suspected poisoning while on vacation from Germany, have emerged. In the footage taken in the taxi on the way to the hospital, the mother and children appear to be almost unconscious.

In Fatih, following the deaths of Kadir Muhammet Böcek (6), Masal Böcek (3), and their mother Çiğdem Böcek due to suspected poisoning at the hotel they were staying in, father Servet Böcek also passed away in the hospital where he was being treated. Footage has emerged showing the moments when the family took a taxi to the hospital after falling ill at the hotel.

BÖCEK FAMILY PASSES AWAY

The incident occurred on November 12 at a hotel in Fatih. Servet and Çiğdem Böcek, who came to Istanbul from Germany, began their stay at the hotel in Fatih with their children Kadir Muhammet and Masal. In the early hours of the night, mother Çiğdem Böcek found her daughter Masal motionless. Health and police teams were dispatched to the hotel upon notification. The children, Masal Böcek and then her brother Kadir Muhammet, were taken to the hospital but unfortunately passed away. Mother Çiğdem Böcek died two days after her children, and the father passed away yesterday.

FOOTAGE OF THE FAMILY GOING TO THE HOSPITAL BY TAXI EMERGES

While the investigation into the incident continues, footage has emerged showing the family taking a taxi to the hospital after falling ill at the hotel. In the footage, the mother and children sitting in the back seat of the taxi appear weak, while the father seems anxious, and one of the children is seen vomiting into a bag handed to her by her mother.

"THE MOTHER WAS WAITING FOR THE ROAD TO END AS SOON AS POSSIBLE"

Meanwhile, taxi driver Sercan Tanrıverdi recounted the events. Sercan Tanrıverdi, who drives a taxi in Fatih, said, "On November 12 at 11:19 AM, the family jumped in front of my car in front of Kadırga Limanı Park. They stopped me and got into my vehicle. They asked me to take them to the nearest hospital. I started driving towards the hospital, and I saw the family was anxious. I tried to chat with the father. When I asked what was wrong, he replied, 'We ate something that might have upset us.' He said, 'Please take us to the nearest hospital urgently.' While heading to the hospital, the little girl was continuously vomiting. I gave her a bag, and she vomited into it. The mother was unconscious, resting her head against the right rear window. She was waiting for the road to end as soon as possible. When I chatted with the father, he said, 'Every time I come to Istanbul, something happens to me. Last year when I came, I had a motorcycle accident. I broke my arm and leg. This time, I experienced this unfortunate event.' I am just a regular taxi driver; I did my job. I picked up the customers and took them to the nearest hospital. This situation saddened all of us; it is tragic news. I also wish my condolences to the family," he expressed.

"THE FAMILY JUMPED IN FRONT OF MY CAR, ASKING ME TO TAKE THEM TO THE HOSPITAL URGENTLY"

Taxi driver Sercan Tanrıverdi, who said he was the one who took the Böcek family to the hospital before the tragic incident, shared his experience. Tanrıverdi stated, "I drive a taxi in the Fatih, Sultanahmet area. On November 12 at 11:19 AM, the family jumped in front of my car in front of Kadırga Limanı Park. They asked me, 'Could you please take us to the nearest hospital urgently?' I took them in my vehicle. The gentleman was coherent. He loaded the stroller into the trunk himself. The family was very anxious. I said, 'Sir, you seem very anxious; I hope there is no problem.' He replied, 'No, what we ate upset us. Just get us to the nearest hospital urgently.' So, I took them to the hospital," he said.

"THE LITTLE GIRL WAS VOMITING BLOOD ALONG THE WAY"

Tanrıverdi described the family's condition in the car, saying, "The little girl was vomiting blood the entire way. The mother was occasionally vomiting, but sometimes she was resting her head against the right rear window. She was trying to hold on until we reached the hospital," he stated.

THE FATHER SAID, 'INCIDENTS FIND ME'

Tanrıverdi recounted the father's words, saying, "The father was crying out. He said, 'Every time I come to Turkey, I experience incidents. Last year, I also came and had a motorcycle accident.' This is the situation. I am a taxi driver. I did my job and drove to the nearest hospital. I helped people. I also wish my condolences to the family. This incident saddened all of us. May they rest in peace. The father said, 'Whenever I come to Turkey, especially to Istanbul for vacation, I always experience incidents. Last year, I rented a motorcycle in Sapanca. I had a motorcycle accident, broke my arm and leg. This time, I experienced this incident. Incidents always find me,' he said."

"I GAVE HER A BAG; THE MOTHER AND DAUGHTER VOMITED ALONG THE WAY"

Tanrıverdi said, "I experienced a very anxious drive. At that moment, I panicked a little too. They were constantly vomiting, especially the little girl. She was vomiting blood, as you know. I couldn't stand it; I took a bag from the glove compartment and gave it to them. The mother and daughter vomited into the bag along the way. The boy didn't vomit much. As soon as the boy and his father got out of the car in the hospital yard, they vomited. But along the way, only the mother and daughter were vomiting into the bag I gave them," he explained.

"I DIDN'T WANT TO CHARGE, I SAID LET IT BE A GIFT FOR THE LITTLE GIRL"

Tanrıverdi recounted the events when they reached the hospital, saying, "I just did my job. I drove my vehicle to the hospital as quickly as possible. When we got out, they tried to pay the taxi fare. At first, I didn't want to take it, saying, 'Let it be a gift for the little girl, as a taxi driver.' He said, 'No, how can that be?' He left the taxi fare in the car. He unloaded the stroller himself. They rushed to the emergency room quickly," he said.

"I WAS IN SHOCK WHEN I SAW THE NEWS"

Taxi driver Tanrıverdi stated that he learned about the incident the next morning, saying, "I saw it about 12 hours later on the news. When I was going to work in the morning, my colleagues at the taxi stand showed it to me. I said, 'I transported these people yesterday; I took them to the hospital.' I was already in shock at that moment," he said.
