Following the inflation data for June, a 15.6% increase was made in the civil servant salary coefficient. With this update, there have also been changes in the amounts for social assistance and public payment items that affect millions of citizens. Here are the current figures for disability, elderly, widow, and orphan pensions, home care assistance, and the ceiling for severance pay.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced the inflation rate for June as 1.37% monthly and 35.05% annually. Thus, the salary increase rate for civil servants and retired civil servants was 15.57%, while the increase rate for SGK, Bağ-Kur, and agricultural retirees was 16.67%. With the salary increase for civil servants, there was also a rise in payments affecting millions of people.
CHANGES IN SALARIES WITH CIVIL SERVANT SALARY INCREASE
With the civil servant salary increase, the disability pension, 65 years old pension, widow and orphan pension, severance pay ceiling, paid military service fee, and home care assistance were also increased by the same rate of 15.57%.
The updated payments for the period of July-December 2025 are as follows:
Home Care Assistance: Increased from 10,125 TL to 11,702 TL.
65 Years Old Pension: Increased from 4,664 TL to 5,390 TL.
Disability Pension (40-69% disability): Increased from 3,723 TL to 4,302 TL.
Disability Pension (70% disability and above): The payment increased from 5,585 TL to 6,454 TL.
Disability Pension for Under 18: Similarly, it became 4,243 TL.
Pre-school child assistance provided under SED payments: Increased from 4,809 TL to 5,558 TL.
Assistance paid for a child in primary school: Increased from 7,214 TL to 8,337 TL.
Assistance paid for a child in middle school: Increased from 7,695 TL to 8,893 TL.
Additionally, significant increases were experienced in public payment items:
Severance Pay Ceiling: Increased from 46,659 TL to 53,924 TL.
Paid Military Service Fee: Increased from 243,035 TL to 280,875 TL.
