According to inflation data, civil servants and retired civil servants will receive a 15.57% raise, while the raise rate for SGK, Bağ-Kur, agricultural retirees, widows, and orphans will be 16.67%.
HOW DOES THE CIVIL SERVANT SALARY COEFFICIENT AFFECT THE PAID MILITARY SERVICE FEE?
The fee for paid military service changes based on the raise rate applied to civil servant salaries every 6 months. The amount to be paid is determined by multiplying the civil servant salary coefficient by the 240,000 indicator figure. Therefore, any increase in the civil servant salary coefficient directly affects the fee for paid military service.
HOW IS THE PAID MILITARY SERVICE FEE CALCULATED?
The amount to be paid for paid military service is recalculated every year in January and July based on the civil servant salary coefficient. This calculation is based on the 240,000 indicator figure. The result obtained by multiplying with the current coefficient constitutes the fee for paid military service.
WHO CAN APPLY FOR PAID MILITARY SERVICE?
The conditions that must be met by those who wish to benefit from the right to paid military service are listed as follows:
- Must not have started actual military service,
- Must have completed the health examinations required for the summons and received a decision of "Fit for Military Service",
- Must have obtained the right to paid military service after the lottery or classification processes and not have waived this right,
- Must not be a draft dodger, deserter, or in a deferred status from the date they entered military age until the application date,
- If they are a draft dodger or deserter, they must pay the fee within two months from the application date,
- Must not waive paid military service before the lottery or classification.
