The call records of Azad Barış, the owner of Spectrum House, who was detained alongside İmamoğlu on charges of "aiding the PKK/KCK terrorist organization," have emerged. It has been determined that Barış, who has communication with 312 individuals with terrorist records, met with İmamoğlu twice and was found to be in the same location as him 253 times.
The HTS records of Azad Barış, who was detained in the same investigation as İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu and is the candidate for the Diyarbakır Deputy of the DEM Party in the 2024 General Elections, have emerged.
HE WAS IN CONTACT WITH 312 PEOPLE WITH TERROR RECORDS
The HTS records documenting Azad Barış's communication history revealed shocking details through the work of the Istanbul Anti-Terror Branch. According to the HTS record; it was revealed that Azad Barış, who was among those detained in the "City Consensus" investigation, was in contact with 312 different individuals who have a terror record and participated in the organizational activities of the "City Consensus".
HE MET WITH İMAMOĞLU 2 TIMES
It was determined that Barış also met with Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan 17 times, was in the same place 354 times, met with Media A.Ş. Chairman Murat Ongun 2 times, was in the same place 20 times, and met with İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu 2 times, being in the same place 253 times.
"HELPING TERRORISM THROUGH 'CITY CONSENSUS'"
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated in its announcement regarding the investigation that it was determined that İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu formed an alliance with the terrorist organization's umbrella structure, the Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK), based on "City Consensus" for the local elections, and this was announced by media affiliated with the terrorist organization. It was explained that investigations against HDK members are still ongoing in many provinces, especially in Istanbul. In the announcement, it was stated that according to the information and documents obtained within the scope of the investigation, İmamoğlu, İBB Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, Reform Institute President Mehmet Ali Çalışkan, fugitive suspect A.B. who is stated to have been active in the ideological field structure of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization, and H.A., who was found to have been involved in the transfer of personnel to the rural area of the terrorist organization in 2018, along with Şişli Deputy Mayor Ebru Özdemir, participated in the "City Consensus".
The statement continued as follows: "It is understood that suspect Ekrem İmamoğlu, by knowingly participating in the 'City Consensus' activity aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the terrorist organization in the metropolises, as expressed by the management of the terrorist organization, considering that the lists of municipal council members for the local elections were determined with his approval, committed the crime of aiding the PKK/KCK terrorist organization. Therefore, simultaneous capture, detention, search, and seizure operations have been instructed to the Istanbul Police Department Anti-Terror Branch regarding the 7 suspects mentioned."
