The statement of Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu, who was detained in connection with the murder of football player Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı, who was killed in a shooting in Ümraniye, has emerged after being released under judicial control following the proceedings. Kalaycıoğlu said, "After learning the full content and reason of the incident, we were going to hand over my daughter together with our lawyer. However, when my daughter came home and hugged my disabled daughter, crying 'don't leave me Cansu,' as a mother, I didn't want to take her that night."

The football player Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı, who was killed in an armed attack in Ümraniye, was the subject of a statement by Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu, who was taken into custody and later released under judicial control after the procedures. In her statement to the prosecutor's office, she said, "I have never accepted the relationship between Vahap Canbay and my daughter from the very first day. The reason I do not accept it is that during the time he was in a relationship with my daughter, he subjected her to violence multiple times, threatened her, used her financially, and most recently threatened her with death. As a mother, I have two daughters. One is disabled and needs care. My other daughter Aleyna is the one who takes care of us and provides both financial and moral support. YOUNG FOOTBALL PLAYER KILLED IN ARMED ATTACK

The incident occurred on the night of March 19 on Sıddık Street in Ümraniye. According to allegations, rapper Vahap Canbay, who wanted to reconcile with singer Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, whom he had separated from a while ago, asked his friend Kubilay Kundakçı (21), with whom he had a good relationship, for help. Kubilay Kundakçı went to the front of the studio where Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu was located, along with Vahap Canbay and his friends. While the group was waiting in the vehicle, it was alleged that suspects arrived at the scene in luxury vehicles with flashing lights and carried out the attack. The football player Kubilay Kundakçı, who was targeted by the bullets, was seriously injured. The young man was taken to the hospital but unfortunately lost his life despite all the interventions.

7 SUSPECTS ARRESTED

Among the suspects whose statements were completed at the prosecutor's office, Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, İzzet Yıldızhan, Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, M. R., H. C. A., M. K., and E. T. were arrested by the peace court to which they were referred with a request for arrest. On the other hand, Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu and A. Ö., who were referred to the Peace Criminal Court, were released under judicial control.

"I KNOW KUNDAKCI BECAUSE HE IS A COMMON FRIEND OF VAHAP CANBAY"

In her statement at the prosecutor's office, Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu said, "I know the person named Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı because he is a common friend of my daughter Aleyna and her boyfriend Vahap Canbay. I got to know him because he came to Bodrum for vacation last summer. When I met him, he was not doing any work; he had told me that he used to play football but could not play anymore due to his health condition.

He has also come to my house a few times in Istanbul. When he came, my daughter Aleyna and Vahap Canbay were with him. He used to do Vahap Canbay's work. His phone number is saved in my phone as 'Kubilay,' but I do not know his number by heart. I do not know where he lives. I have no debts or disputes with him.

"I FOUGHT WITH MY DAUGHTER BECAUSE OF VAHAP CANBAY"

Kalaycıoğlu stated: "I have known Vahap Canbay for about a year and a half. I met him through my daughter Aleyna. He makes rap music. My daughter was making pop music during that time. Our first meeting was when he came to our house in Zekeriyaköy with my daughter Aleyna; I met him face to face there for the first time. Later, my daughter Aleyna and he started making music together. During this process, they began to date. Normally, this person lived in Bağcılar. When my daughter started her romantic relationship with him, I became uncomfortable when he started bringing his friends and relatives to our house in Zekeriyaköy under the pretext of music and staying for hours. For this reason, I had a fight with my daughter Aleyna. In fact, I moved out of my house in Zekeriyaköy because of this.

"I DID NOT ALLOW THEM TO STAY WITH ME"

I settled in Beykoz. After settling in Beykoz, since the house I stayed in was large again, Vahap Canbay brought his friends to my house in Beykoz again under the pretext of music, and I became uncomfortable. When I told them to rent a studio and work there, Vahap told my daughter, 'Your mother should leave, and we should stay here.' When my daughter told me this, we had an argument. Canbay's intention was that since my daughter had paid the rent for a year in advance, it would be more appropriate for them to stay here together. I did not accept this. I told my daughter that Canbay should rent a house and move there; I did not allow them to stay with me. Later, my daughter Aleyna and Vahap rented a house in Şişli and started living together.

"VAHAP KIDNAPPED MY DAUGHTER IN A MINIBUS"

My daughter Aleyna and Vahap opened a joint studio in Şişli, and after the studio opened, I witnessed that Vahap and my daughter fought almost every day, and one day my daughter called me saying, 'Mom, come and save me.' During this process, my daughter Aleyna wanted to break up with Vahap three times. Vahap started threatening her by breaking her phone and kidnapping her in a minibus, just like he did to my daughter in Beykoz. Most recently, they had two dogs together. They were taking care of these dogs at their office in Ümraniye. One of the dogs was named Mokka, and the other was named Rio. During the breakup process, Vahap threatened my daughter that he would not give her the dogs. Since I have never approved of my daughter's relationship from the very beginning, I told her to come home.

I learned that my daughter started staying with her friends because she was afraid of me. My daughter had many fights during her relationship with this person, and I was afraid to answer the phone calls that came every 3 or 4 days, fearing that something might happen to her. I warned my daughter many times, saying, 'Let’s live together,' but she did not give up because she loved Canbay. Due to these events, since we were alone and there was no one to support us, we could not report to the judicial authorities until today because we were threatened and scared.

Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu continued her statement with the following words: "On the evening of the incident, I do not remember the exact time because I was taking care of my disabled daughter, my daughter Aleyna called me. She said, 'Mom, we are in the studio with Bertin, Vahap and his friends are outside, we cannot go out.' I immediately told her to come home. During this process, I called her several times to ask why she had not come yet. She told me, 'Mom, we are waiting for them to leave; they might do something to us, they might take Mokka.' I told her to drop everything and come home, and I even texted her friend Bertin, saying, 'You are taking Aleyna and coming to us.'

"MY DAUGHTER LEFT WITH ALAATTIN"

After a while from the phone call, Bertin and my daughter Aleyna came to my house.

Alaattin and my daughter left in Alaattin's car from in front of my house. I felt relieved thinking that my daughter would go to Alaattin's house with him. After a while, police officers from Ümraniye called me. They asked about Aleyna. While I was on the phone, I heard Vahap's voice in the background; I learned at that moment that there had been an injury, but I couldn't get any information about who had injured whom. I then called my daughter, and when I couldn't reach her, I called Alaattin. When Alaattin didn't answer, I called Bertin.

"SHE WAS IN SHOCK WHEN I WENT TO MY DAUGHTER"

I asked where my daughter was, and Bertin first told me to stay calm, he didn't want to say, but when I yelled on the phone, he said my daughter was at home with him. He sent me the location of the house where they were staying. I then went to Bertin's house to pick up my daughter. When I arrived, my daughter was in shock, she wasn't talking at all, and she was trembling. When she couldn't answer my questions, I asked Bertin what had happened.

Bertin told me that Aleyna had gone to the studio with Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu to get the dog, and when they arrived, they saw Vahap Canbay and his friends waiting in the car in front of the door. Later, Alaattin got out of the car and argued with Vahap Canbay, and during that time, Alaattin shot at Vahap, but he didn't know who was injured in the incident, and they told me that they had left the scene in fear.

"POLICE TEAMS CAME AFTER MY DAUGHTER CAME TO ME"

I had left my disabled daughter alone, and after a while, I left them and went back to my own house. After a while, I called Bertin and told him to bring my daughter to me. He brought my daughter to me. At the time of the incident, Bertin said he was working in the studio, and because there was a lot of noise in the environment he was working in, he said he didn't hear or see the incident. After my daughter came to me, police teams came to my house.
