On the other hand, in her statement to the police, business owner Esra Poyraz T. said, "I saw that a 22-carat 20-gram bracelet worth approximately 140 thousand lira was missing from the open cash register. Oğuzhan T. told me that he came to the business at night to drop off my belongings that were left in our old shared house and that he entered the business with a key. We have been living in separate houses for about 11 months. Our divorce process is ongoing. The operation of this business belongs entirely to me. There is no partnership involved," she stated.
"BE CAREFUL WITH WHO YOU LET INTO YOUR LIFE"
In a statement after the incident, Esra Poyraz T. said, "Being a woman in this country is hard. Getting divorced as a woman is even harder. Last night, someone forcibly entered my shop. We have a financial loss; but more than the financial loss, we have a moral loss. I have been at the police station since 04:00. We have camera footage. We have filed a complaint. Everything is being done; but the state of the shop is like this with fingerprints. I also gave my fingerprints like a thief. I apologize. I am waiting for your support. As I said, young people, please be careful with the people you let into your life. I always say this now. When you get married, sign an exit paper too, even marry that way. Because this person can be a tyranny in your life, even if they are the father of your children. So please take this as a lesson."
