The new year message from Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, evaluating the process regarding the resolution of the Kurdish issue and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), will be shared tomorrow. It is noteworthy that this message comes just two days before the deadline given by Turkey to the SDF.
While the blockage in the integration process of the terrorist organization SDG with Syria continues, it has been learned that the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan, will make a critical statement today. In Öcalan's New Year message, he will make some evaluations regarding the ongoing Terror-Free Turkey process in Turkey and the SDG.
A DEADLINE WAS GIVEN TO SDG
No progress has been made for a while in the ongoing integration process between the Syrian state and the SDG. Despite the timeline foreseen in the agreement reached on March 10, a deadline was given for the SDG to achieve full integration with the army and other state institutions by the end of the year.
FIDAN HAD DRAWN ATTENTION TO THE ISRAELI OBSTACLE
Recently, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan drew attention to the Israeli obstacle in the integration process of the PKK/YPG's Syrian extension, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDG), into the Syrian army, stating, "We see that the SDG is not willing to make progress. The fact that the SDG is carrying out certain activities in coordination with Israel is currently a major obstacle in the negotiations being conducted with Damascus."
SDG'S ATTACKS CONTINUE
On the other hand, while the deadline given for the remnants of the regime and the PKK's Syrian branch YPG/SDG to comply with the March 10 agreement (by the end of December 2025) is approaching, reports of clashes in the region continue to come in.
MAZLUM ABDI'S VISIT TO DAMASCUS HAS BEEN POSTPONED
It has been reported that the planned visit of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDG) Leader Mazlum Abdi to Damascus with the negotiation delegation yesterday has been postponed "for technical reasons."
Abdi was expected to meet with the interim President of Syria, Ahmed Shara, during his visit to Damascus. SDG Spokesperson Ferhat Şami also stated the day before that Mazlum Abdi would "go to Damascus before the end of the year."
