In the village of Bayramiç in Gelibolu, an unexpected price emerged in the auction for the rental of the village coffee house. It was reported that due to bidding disputes, the monthly rental price, which was expected to be around 15,000 to 20,000 lira, rose to 126,000 lira in the auction.

THE VILLAGE HEADMAN CANCELED THE AUCTION

The auction, conducted by village headman Aziz Koç, saw participation from four village residents, and it was noted that competition increased rapidly. IT WILL BE RE-AUCTIONED ONCE THE LEGAL PROCESS IS COMPLETED

Before the auction, it was recorded that the monthly rental price of the village coffee house was 4,000 lira, while headman Koç stated that the village is not a special tourism or attraction center, and therefore, it does not seem feasible for the price to be covered by operating revenues. Koç announced that the village coffee house would be re-auctioned after the legal process is completed.
