Murat Ongun, who is detained for being a leader of the organization, stated in a press release that he paid the annual rent of his luxury residence, which is 3 million 700 thousand TL, with the help of İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu. However, it was revealed that the annual payment for the house rent in 2024 was made by Murat Ongun's wife, Zeynep, but the payment of 4 million 500 thousand TL came from an account belonging to a private company, not from an account belonging to İmamoğlu.
HE REQUESTED PAYMENTS IN HIS WIFE'S NAME
On the other hand, it was determined that Murat Ongun, the manager of the Profit-Oriented İmamoğlu Criminal Organization, requested payments in the name of his wife, Zeynep Ayten Gözdem Ongun, from companies that won tenders from İBB's subsidiaries, Media A.Ş.

During this process, it was learned that Emrah Bağdatlı, known as Ongun's treasurer, pressured the companies that won the tenders, and that Bağdatlı threatened the companies he contacted that if they did not send money to Ongun's wife, their business would not run, and that judicial authorities have evidence of such communications.
ALL LARGE PAYMENTS DOCUMENTED
It was understood that the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, working with MASAK, documented that large amounts of payments were made to Zeynep Ongun's account from İBB and especially from many companies that won tenders from Media A.Ş. following the incoming tips.
NAMES OF THE COMPANIES ARE ALSO KNOWN
Among the companies that made payments leading to Zeynep Ongun's involvement in bribery and membership in the organization are; Adstation Event, Aktif Spor, Aslım Reklam, ECM Yapım, Ed İletişim, KMD Reklam, Lap Turizm, Mürettebat Medya, Peripol İletişim, Pluto Lojistik, Syk Roll Organizasyon, Urbanmedia Reklam.
In this context, it is stated that the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has detained Murat Ongun's wife for membership in the organization (TCK 220/2) and for facilitating bribery (252/4). Meanwhile, it was learned that Murat Ongun, who declared his monthly income as 350,000 TL, has a monthly house rent of 416,000 TL for the year 2025, and that his wife paid a total of 5 million TL in advance for the one-year luxury residence rent while he was detained in April.
