This year in July, the pensions of SSK and Bağkur retirees were increased by 24.73 percent, while the pensions of civil servant retirees were increased by 19.31 percent. However, minimum wage earners did not receive a mid-year increase this year. While millions of workers are researching how much the minimum wage will be, Şeref Oğuz announced the possible minimum wage based on inflation estimates.

Millions of workers are waiting for a minimum wage increase due to high cost of living and high inflation.

After the announcement of the new Medium-Term Program targets today, economic commentator Şeref Oğuz made new calculations for the minimum wage in a program he participated in.

HOW MUCH WILL THE MINIMUM WAGE BE IN JANUARY?

Minimum wage workers and employers have started researching the upcoming minimum wage increase in January.

As economic commentators announce their minimum wage increase predictions one by one, the most striking statement came from economic commentator Şeref Oğuz.

INFLATION HAS BEEN REVISED

In the Medium-Term Program covering the period of 2025-2027 announced today, inflation has been revised upwards. The 2024 inflation target has been increased from 33% to 41.5%.

Şeref Oğuz calculated how much the minimum wage could increase in 2025 based on these new inflation predictions.

MINIMUM WAGE COULD RISE TO 20,000 TL

When TÜRK-İŞ and DİSK sat down at the table in December, there was curiosity about the rates. However, there was a deviation of 8.5 points in the inflation target.

Oğuz announced in his calculation that the minimum wage could rise to 20,000 TL in January due to this deviation.
