The net minimum wage for the year 2025 has been announced as 22,104 lira, and the new figure has drawn immediate criticism from HÜDA PAR, one of the partners in the People's Alliance. The party's General Chairman, Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, stated, "The poverty line is 67,000 TL, and the minimum wage is 22,000 TL! Can one make a living on this amount? No, this calculation is wrong."
The minimum wage for 2025, which millions have been eagerly awaiting, has been set at 22,104 TL with a 30% increase. While the new figure brings discussions along with it, many people expressed their reactions through their posts, stating that the amount is low.
One of these individuals is Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, the General Chairman of HÜDA PAR, a partner in the Cumhur Alliance. In his post, Yapıcıoğlu stated, "The poverty line is 67,000 TL, the minimum wage is 22,000 TL! Can one live on this money? No, this calculation is wrong."

For a family of four:
Hunger line (the amount that must be spent only on food): 21,000 ₺
Poverty line (the amount sufficient to meet all basic needs): 67,000 ₺
A single worker's monthly minimum needs: 27,000 ₺
Minimum wage: 22,000 ₺
