With the amendment to the regulation published in the Official Gazette, the limit for employers to make payments such as salaries, bonuses, and incentives in cash has been lowered. Now, only employers with 3 or fewer employees will be able to make payments in cash instead of through a bank. The new regulation will come into effect on July 1, 2025.
