The Israeli army targeted a house in the al-Bedawi Palestinian Refugee Camp in northern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of Hamas officials Vesim Atallah and his wife, while their daughters were injured. The Israeli army continues its intense attacks that began on March 2 in Lebanon.
According to a report by Lebanon's official agency NNA, the Israeli army bombed a house in the al-Bedawi Palestinian Refugee Camp located in Tripoli. It was reported that Vesim Atallah al-Ali, one of the Hamas officials, lost his life in the attack targeting their home, and one of Atallah's daughters was injured.
ISRAELI ATTACKS PROTESTED
In the morning hours, the Israeli attack targeting Atallah in the al-Bedawi camp was protested with marches. It was reminded that Said Atallah, the brother of Vesim Atallah, also lost his family in a previous attack by Israel on the Bedawi camp. Additionally, the Israeli army conducted airstrikes in the neighborhoods of al-Gubeyri, which is under threat of attack in the Dahiye area south of the capital Beirut, as well as in the Bir al-Abd and Haret Hreik neighborhoods. The Israeli army's attacks also continued in southern Lebanon. Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the town of al-Shihabiyeh, which is affiliated with the city of Tyre.
ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON LEBANON
In a statement made by the Israeli army on March 2, it was noted that sirens were activated in the north of the country after detecting missile launches from Lebanon.
Subsequently, the Israeli army announced that it had launched airstrikes across Lebanon and decided to expand its ground invasion in Lebanon, where it conducted intense attacks from the air and sea targeting the capital Beirut.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on March 4 that 72 people had been killed and 437 injured in the airstrikes conducted by Israel on Lebanon since March 2.
