The snowfall, which started last night following a warning from the General Directorate of Meteorology, continues to have an impact. In the morning hours, as pedestrians struggled to walk on the sidewalks, most had to walk on the road.

Due to the accumulated snow, traffic came to a standstill at some points. Out of 293 villages in the province, the roads to 290 have been closed. Snow removal teams are continuing their work with 142 personnel and 94 vehicles to clear the roads. Meanwhile, flights at Batman Airport have been canceled due to adverse weather conditions.
