After the court's absolute nullity decision, the MYK led by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who took over the CHP General Chairmanship, released a timetable for the congress process. Party spokesperson Müslim Sarı announced that the ordinary congress process would begin in the first week of September. Today, during the group meeting, Özgür Özel made a congress call, saying, "A party that brought the ballot box and democracy to this country must immediately get rid of this shame. I am making this historic call to Mr. Kemal on behalf of our party."

In the Republican People's Party (CHP), tensions persist following the court's ruling of absolute nullity for the 38th Ordinary Congress. During the Central Executive Board (MYK) and Party Assembly (PM) meetings chaired by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, both strict decisions were made regarding the party organizations and the new congress schedule was clarified.

TWO PROVINCIAL CHAIRS DISMISSED, REPLACEMENTS APPOINTED

According to information from the MYK meeting, the Kılıçdaroğlu administration continues radical changes in the party organizations. In line with the decision, CHP Antalya Provincial Chair Nail Kamacı and CHP Kayseri Provincial Chair Ufuk Ozan Gözbaşı were dismissed. It was learned that Kayseri Provincial Chair Gözbaşı was not only removed from duty but also referred to the disciplinary board with a request for definitive expulsion along with his administration.

New appointments for the vacant positions were made swiftly. The Kılıçdaroğlu administration appointed Hasan Şahin as CHP Antalya Provincial Chair and Okan Marzıoğlu as CHP Kayseri Provincial Chair.

"ORDINARY CONGRESS PROCESS BEGINS IN SEPTEMBER"

Following the MYK and the PM meeting that started at 2 PM, CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı made important statements about the party's roadmap. Sarı stated that they had examined the signatures of 820 delegates collected for an extraordinary congress and announced that the ordinary congress process would officially begin in the first week of September.

Sarı noted that a special commission consisting of Orhan Sarıbal, Yıldırım Kaya, Adnan Demirci, Nevaf Bilek, Hasan Efe Uyar, and Deniz Demir had been established to conduct the process, and he stated that the detailed schedule for provincial and district congresses would be shared with the public in the coming days.

RESIGNATION OF 22 MAYORS: SELF-CRITICISM MUST BE MADE

Also on Müslim Sarı's agenda were the local administrators who recently left the party. Sarı noted that 22 mayors had resigned from the CHP and 19 of them had joined the AK Party, criticizing this situation. Delivering a clear message to the party, Sarı said, "We do not find it right for people to move to the ranks of the party we are politically fighting against. However, self-criticism must also be made. Self-criticism should start from the candidate determination process."

DISCIPLINARY INVESTIGATION FOR THOSE WHO TORE A PHOTOGRAPH

In the final part of his statement, Spokesperson Müslim Sarı addressed the negative incidents at the İzmir Provincial Headquarters, emphasizing that actions targeting Özgür Özel would not be tolerated. Sarı stated, "Disciplinary proceedings will be initiated against those who tore Özgür Özel's photograph at the İzmir Provincial Headquarters. We do not accept such offensive images," and underscored that internal rules of respect would be enforced.
