The furious man tied his victims to wooden poles and attacked them with a stick and rope in front of a crowd.

A woman dressed in traditional Indian attire screamed as her husband whipped her, trying to escape the blows by spinning around the pole.

The man then moved to the porch and began to beat his wife's lover, who was also tied up.

A visibly distressed crowd, which included children, watched the incident. However, it is unclear whether these children belong to the family of the man administering the beating.

In India, there is a heated debate about whether the man should be punished for his actions.

Critics say that the footage of the man tying his wife to a pole and beating her with a stick and rope promotes and even normalizes domestic violence.

The video was shared by human rights activist Kundan Srivastava, who stated that he was shocked by the number of people trying to defend the man's actions.

It has not been disclosed whether the police are investigating the incident, but activists believe that from the woman's accent, it appears to have taken place in Bihar State in eastern India.

Srivastava expressed his desire to file an official complaint, stating, "I am against such violence, physical abuse, and criminal activities," and asked for someone who knows the couple to contact him.
