The driverless metro on the Üsküdar-Samandıra Line skipped 5 stops, causing concern among passengers. In a panic, the passengers pressed the emergency button. Passengers who got off the metro near the Altınşehir station walked to the station on their own.

The metro, which was en route from Üsküdar to Samandıra, continued its journey after dropping off passengers at the Bulgurlu station, skipping the stops at Ümraniye, Çarşı, Yamanevler, Çakmak, and Ihlamurkuyu.

THEY PRESSED THE EMERGENCY BUTTON

Passengers who were supposed to get off at the mentioned stops panicked as they could not understand what was happening. Despite the passengers pressing the emergency button, the metro continued to move.

PASSENGERS WALKED TO THE STATION

At a point near the Altınşehir station, passengers who got off the metro that had stopped on the line managed to reach the station by walking on the tracks.

'A METRO IS COMING FROM BEHIND'

Passengers reacting to the incident recorded what was happening with their mobile phones. In the footage, one of the passengers was seen warning the others, "Let's evacuate quickly, a metro is coming from behind."
