RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROLDuring the attack, Nermin Devecioğlu sustained bruises on her back and arms and cuts from the spikes, while her husband Çetin Devecioğlu received four stitches on his face. The statements of the landlords and tenants were taken at the police station. H.T. and M.T., along with their children M.T. and N.T., were released under judicial control by the court. "I AM CONCERNED FOR OUR SAFETY"Describing the terrifying moments she experienced, Nermin Devecioğlu stated that they rented the house on June 1 and moved in on the 17th. She reported that the landlord came to their door asking her to throw out the cat, saying, "I told him I wouldn't throw out the cat, 'is it possible for you to throw your child out on the street?' After this incident, the arguments escalated. They constantly wanted to evict us. They were already saying they would kick us out and rent it for a higher price. I had already gone to the police twice to file a complaint; the case is already in court. In the last incident, they insulted us heavily and stormed my house with sticks. My grandchildren were at home at that time, and they were also threatened with sticks. I have bruises on my arm and back. They pulled me by my hair and threw me to the ground. I couldn't intervene because I had my phone in my hand at that moment. I recorded a video to prove it. My husband has four stitches on his face. I will seek my rights in every matter; I will file a compensation lawsuit. I am considering leaving the house; I have to because I am afraid the situation will escalate further. I am concerned for our safety," she expressed.
