According to the information obtained, Muharrem Bulut (76) and Saliha Kütükçü (71), who lived on the ground floor of a four-story building, were poisoned by carbon monoxide gas leaking from the stove in their home. The lifeless bodies of the elderly couple, who were found lying in the same room where they had been sleeping and had set up the stove the day before, were discovered by their son Alaiddin Bulut (50), who also lived in the same house.
IT WAS LEARNED THAT THE ELDERLY COUPLE HAD CANCER
In the morning, Alaiddin Bulut entered the room where his parents were sleeping and saw one of them on the floor and the other motionless on the sofa. After the situation was reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health teams who arrived at the scene determined that the elderly couple had passed away. Following the examination, the lifeless bodies of the elderly couple were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution. It was learned that the elderly couple, who had previously divorced but continued to live together, were suffering from cancer. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
