In Taksim, where New Year celebrations were held, two people leaving an entertainment venue were attacked with kicks and punches. At the same time, the police intervened in another fight that broke out between two groups.

At around 02:00 on Kurabiye Street, Istiklal Avenue, a dispute arose between two customers and the staff as they were leaving the entertainment venue. The argument later escalated into a fight.

Staff at the venue attacked the customers leaving with kicks and punches. Those who fell to the ground became targets of kicks for a long time. The fight ended with the attackers fleeing.

At the same time, another fight broke out on Istiklal Avenue. Two groups engaged in kicks and punches. The police teams present intervened in the fight. Those involved in the fight were taken into custody. The incidents were recorded by a mobile phone camera.
