During the "bride asking" ceremony held with the participation of a group of citizens in Kırıkkale, two groom candidates who blocked the road and lit torches were fined a total of 13,397 lira by the police.
A.E.E. (22), who organized the "bride asking" ceremony on 679th Street in Gürler Neighborhood, blocked the road by lighting torches with a group of citizens.
SHOCK FOR THE GROOM CANDIDATE WHO LIT TORCHES
Following the images shared on social media by the Provincial Police Department, an investigation was initiated. Police teams determined that the groom candidate had obtained a wedding permit for the ceremony but did not have permission to block the road.
Additionally, the groom candidate, who was found to have violated the relevant articles of the Highway Traffic Law for blocking the road with a vehicle, was fined 7,491 TL, and 2,953 TL for acting contrary to the order.
SECOND INCIDENT IN THE SAME CITY
Another incident occurred on Mehmet Akif Street in Tepebaşı Neighborhood. Y.Ç. (23) blocked the road with a vehicle convoy and used a torch during the bride asking ceremony.
In the investigation conducted following the images shared on social media, it was determined that the groom candidate did not have any permission documents. Y.Ç. was fined 2,953 TL for acting contrary to the order.
