During the budget discussions, it was stated that no meal fees are charged to the personnel of the relevant institutions and organizations. It emphasized that the claims on social media stating that "in the budget discussions at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, meals are free for some organization members and charged for others" are completely false.

The Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey stated that no meal fees are charged to the personnel of relevant institutions and organizations during the budget work process, and that contrary claims are completely false.

In a statement from the Presidency, it was noted that some social media accounts shared that "during the budget discussions held in the Grand National Assembly, dinner is free for the central organization of the ministry, while it is charged for members of the police and gendarmerie."

A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT WILL BE FILED

In the statement, which reported that the aforementioned shares are "completely false," it was stated, "No fees are charged for the meal needs of the personnel of relevant institutions and organizations during the budget work process in the Grand National Assembly. A criminal complaint will be filed with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against those who made and spread this false information."
