In the closed group meeting of the CHP, Ankara Deputy Tekin Bingöl was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. In the second round of voting, after Gülizar Biçer Karaca withdrew, Tekin Bingöl received 72 votes, while Gürsel Erol received 54 votes.

In the closed group meeting held to determine the members of the CHP's Group Management and Presidential Board, it was decided that Ali Mahir Başarır, Gökhan Günaydın, and Murat Emir would continue their duties as Group Vice Presidents. The elections for the Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) went to a second round. In the second round, Tekin Bingöl and Gürsel Erol competed. CHP's Deputy Speaker of TBMM is Tekin Bingöl.

THE ELECTION WAS HELD IN A CLOSED GROUP MEETING

Today (May 23, Friday), CHP held elections in a closed group meeting to determine the group vice presidents who will serve in the second term of the 28th Legislative Period of the TBMM, as well as the Deputy Speaker and the secretariat members.

3 NAMES COMPETED

For the vice presidency, Ankara Deputy Tekin Bingöl, Elazığ Deputy Gürsel Erol, and Denizli Deputy Gülizar Biçer Karaca competed. In the first round of voting, Ankara Deputy Tekin Bingöl received 63 votes, Elazığ Deputy Gürsel Erol received 45 votes, and Denizli Deputy Gülizar Biçer Karaca received 21 votes.

TEKIN BINGÖL BECAME THE DEPUTY SPEAKER OF TBMM

The second round of voting, in which Biçer withdrew, was held between Tekin Bingöl and Gürsel Erol. At the end of the second round of voting, CHP's Deputy Speaker of TBMM is Tekin Bingöl.

3 GROUP VICE PRESIDENTS WILL CONTINUE THEIR DUTIES

CHP Group also elected 3 group vice presidents who will serve in the parliament during the second term of the 28th Legislative Period of the TBMM. As a result of the meeting, it was decided that Ali Mahir Başarır, Gökhan Günaydın, and Murat Emir would continue their duties as Group Vice Presidents.
