The trial regarding the murder of Narin Güran, who was found to have been killed in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, is being held on its third day at the Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court. During the first hearing, which started on November 7 at 09:00, the detained defendants were brought to the courthouse under heavy security measures.

During the hearing, first, Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed to carrying Narin's body to the stream, was heard, followed by the statements of Enes, Yüksel, and Salim Güran in turn. After the defendants' statements were completed, Narin's father, Arif Güran, was heard as a witness, and then Nevzat Bahtiyar's wife, Gazal Bahtiyar, was also heard.

"The court also heard the friends of Enes Güran. It was asked whether there was any abnormality in Enes Güran's behavior. Narin's uncle, Halil İbrahim Güran, was also among those who were heard. Since he has a blood relation with the defendants, the uncle was heard without an oath.

A location showing video from Eğertutmaz Stream was watched in the courtroom. It was a 7-minute video showing how Nevzat Bahtiyar took Narin Güran to the stream and how he left her there. Before this video, the court president made a statement to the Güran family, saying, 'Anyone who wants can leave the courtroom.'

Regarding when the hearing will end, Sevgim Begüm Yavuz said, "I got the impression that it could be completed by tonight. The hearing continues into the night. Today, a break was given for the complainant's lawyers to prepare questions. After hearing the witnesses, they needed to conduct some work, so a one-hour break was given for that."
