In the investigation into "drugs" involving celebrities, the Peace Criminal Court decided to arrest Koray Serenli, Mustafa Tari, Onur Talay, and Sezgin Köysüren, among the five individuals referred to it. For Lütfiye Tuğçe Özbudak Kılıçarslan, a judicial control decision was made with a travel ban and house arrest. One of the other individuals was released directly, while the other eight were released under judicial control. The only one remaining is Hande Erçel, who is abroad and has an arrest warrant issued against her.
The drug investigation targeting celebrities conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is ongoing.
14 SUSPECTS TRANSFERRED TO COURT As part of the investigation, the procedures of 14 suspects detained by the Narcotic Crimes Department have been completed. After health checks, the suspects were transferred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan.
Fikret Orman The business people whose statements have been completed by the prosecutor's office, including Kerim Sabancı, Hakan Sabancı, former Galatasaray Club President Burak Elmas, former Beşiktaş Club President Fikret Orman, Güzide Duran, and Didem Soydan, were referred to the court with a request for judicial control in the form of a travel ban. Onur Bükçü was released after his statement at the prosecutor's office, while house arrest was requested for Ferhat Aydın and İsmail Berhan Perinçekli. The prosecutor's office requested the arrest of Mustafa Tari, Koray Serenli, Onur Talay, Sezgin Köysüren, and Lütfiye Tuğçe Özbudak Kılıçarslan.
4 ARRESTS, 9 JUDICIAL CONTROLS The Peace Criminal Court complied with the request for judicial control regarding 8 individuals, and it was decided to arrest Koray Serenli, Mustafa Tari, Onur Talay, and Sezgin Köysüren. A judicial control decision was made for Lütfiye Tuğçe Özbudak Kılıçarslan in the form of a travel ban and house arrest.
Didem Soydan ONLY HANDE ERÇEL REMAINS On the other hand, Hande Erçel, who has an arrest warrant issued against her as part of the investigation, is currently abroad. An arrest warrant has also been issued for Erçel, who made her first statement regarding the matter yesterday. In a statement on her social media account, Erçel mentioned that she learned about the developments from news reports and stated that she would return to Turkey to give her statement.
Erçel used the following expressions: "I have been abroad for about a month due to my education. Last night, like you, I learned about the issue from the news in the media, and I will return to my country to clarify the matter, make the necessary statements, and give my statement. I am someone who loves my country and trusts the state and Turkish justice. I believe that the situation will be clarified as soon as possible."
