The investigation into the unauthorized recording and disclosure of a phone conversation involving an expert in Istanbul has concluded. The indictment requested that Barış Pehlivan and Kürşad Oğuz be sentenced to up to 14 years in prison, while three other suspects face up to 9 years each.

UP TO 14 YEARS IN PRISON REQUESTED FOR BARIS PEHLIVAN

In the prepared indictment, it was requested that suspects Barış Pehlivan and Kürşad Oğuz be sentenced to 6 to 14 years in prison for the crimes of 'recording and publishing conversations between individuals' and 'attempting to influence a judicial officer, an expert, or a witness.' For suspects Suat Toktaş, Seda Selek, and Serhan Asker, a prison sentence of 4 to 9 years was requested.
