In simultaneous raids conducted in 11 provinces centered in Istanbul, a total of 27 people were detained, including 1 who was already imprisoned. It was stated that two individuals were fugitives abroad. It was reported that the football players mentioned in the investigation were found to have placed bets on their own teams' matches in a way that would affect the match outcome, stating "The opposing team will win."
