As part of the corruption investigation targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), instructions were given to the police for six journalists to provide statements as 'suspects.' Police teams visited the homes of journalists Şaban Sevinç, Yavuz Oğhan, Batuhan Çolak, and Soner Yalçın in the morning hours. Sevinç, Oğhan, Yalçın, and Çolak, who were taken to the Istanbul Police Department, will have their statements taken in the Financial Crimes Unit.

Police visited the homes of journalists Şaban Sevinç, Yavuz Oğhan, Soner Yalçın, and Batuhan Çolak at 6:00 AM.
THEY WILL GIVE STATEMENTS AT THE FINANCIAL BRANCH
It has been learned that the four journalists, who do not have an arrest warrant against them, were taken to the Financial Crimes Unit of the Istanbul Police Department for questioning. Their mobile phones were confiscated.
THERE IS A STATEMENT FROM THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE
In a statement made by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the matter, it was stated, "Our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has instructed the Istanbul Police Department to take statements from suspects Soner Yalçın, Şaban Sevinç, Aslı Aydıntaşbaş, Ruşen Çakır, Yavuz Oğhan, and Batuhan Çolak for the crimes of publicly disseminating false information and aiding a criminal organization, as part of the ongoing investigation into the İmamoğlu Organized Crime Group. The statement-taking process will take place at the Police Department."
