Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu stated in a post on his social media account, "He viewed politics not as a means of enrichment but as a way to serve the nation and the state, and he has provided countless services to our country as both a role model politician and an honest statesman. On the anniversary of the passing of our late Chairman and Prime Minister, Mr. Bülent Ecevit, I commemorate him with respect, mercy, and gratitude. May his place be paradise, and may his soul rest in peace."
