Onur Air Transportation Inc., which has not flown for months, was declared "bankrupt" by the Bakırköy 2nd Commercial Court on November 5, 2025.

COURT APPOINTED BANKRUPTCY ADMINISTRATION

With this decision, the legal liquidation process of the company, which has been operating since 1992, has officially begun. The court appointed a bankruptcy administration to manage the remaining assets of the company and liquidate its debts.

ALL FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS WILL BE EXAMINED

The court's decision covers not only the closure of the company but also the examination of all financial transactions in recent years. According to the instructions given to the bankruptcy administration:

- A "bankruptcy annotation" will be placed on all real estate belonging to the bankrupt company.

- All mortgages and liens on the company will be reported in detail.

- As the most critical item, all real estate transferred in the last 5 years will be examined.

SALARY PAYMENTS HAD SERIOUS DISRUPTIONS

Since 2020, the company has started to delay salary payments, and it was revealed that on October 14, 2024, it had not paid the salaries and severance pay of 1800 employees. Employees stated that they had not received any results from their applications made through CİMER for years.

THEY DELAYED THE EMPLOYEES

According to a report by Bilge Su Yıldırım from BirGün, the company management delayed the employees for a long time under the pretext of bringing in a new partner. However, on April 10, 2023, all personnel were laid off. The layoffs were classified as "termination by the employee for a valid reason."
