While being held in the arms of his father, Muhammet Baca, 14-month-old İkra Baca, who was allegedly assaulted in Yalova, was discharged, and Servet Ergin, who was released, stated that İkra's mother dropped the baby down the stairs. "When Muhammet Baca's nose started to bleed, he took the child in his arms and began to shout, 'They assaulted my child,' while letting the blood flow onto the child," he said. Muhammet Baca, on the other hand, denied his neighbor's claim that "İkra's head hit the car's dashboard" with a new video he published.

The Baca family, who moved to a house they bought about a year ago in the Esenköy district of Çınarcık with their four children, reportedly had ongoing disputes with the Ergin family living in the building due to noise, leading to animosity between the two families. According to the claim; on February 20, while Muhammet Baca was returning home, he encountered his neighbor Şener Ergin near the building. Muhammet Baca claimed that Ergin said to him, 'What are you looking at, man,' and reported the incident to the gendarmerie.

IKRA BABY INJURED IN FIGHT

Baca explained the situation to the gendarmerie teams that arrived at the address. When his 14-month-old daughter İkra and his wife also came to the door, as Muhammet Baca was holding his daughter in his arms, his hostile neighbor Şener Ergin attacked him with a stick. Baca and his daughter İkra, whom he was holding, were injured by the blows they received. The gendarmerie teams struggled to separate the fight. After the first intervention by the medical personnel dispatched to the scene, the father and daughter were taken to the hospital. It was determined that Muhammet Baca had a broken nose, and the 14-month-old baby had three cracks in her head and an injury to her right eye. The injured were taken to Yalova Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. It was reported that Baca and his daughter's life was not in danger.

OLDER BROTHER FREE, SISTER DETAINED

After the incident, Şener Ergin and Servet Ergin were detained by the gendarmerie and taken to the police station. Muhammet Baca filed a complaint, and after the procedures at the police station, Şener Ergin was arrested by the court he was brought to. Servet Ergin was released after being questioned by the prosecutor.

It was also learned that Muhammet Baca had obtained a restraining order against Servet Ergin on the grounds that he left a bullet at his door due to their animosity. Ergin, who denied the allegations, claimed that he received threatening messages. Servet Ergin stated that he went out to look for his children who were late coming home that day and said that during the incident, İkra baby fell from her mother's arms onto the stairs, saying:

"THE BABY FELL WHILE IN HER MOTHER'S ARMS"

"As I was going down, the person named Muhammet Baca was coming from the other side in his car. After I passed him, he cursed at me while waving his finger from the window. I stopped and called out, 'What's up?' He shouted back, 'What's up to you?' Since I knew Muhammet Baca somewhat and he was a bit obsessive, I pressed on and left. After I left, I found the children. When I was returning home, I saw that he had called the gendarmerie again. He was telling something there. He was shouting and calling again. Muhammet Baca attacked me there. The law enforcement intervened. Muhammet Baca attacked my brother Şener Ergin while cursing at him. They started hitting each other while attacking. We intervened, and the gendarmerie separated them. He had a small child in his arms. Then the child fell to the ground while being held by her mother Bilge Baca during the incident. When she fell, as Muhammet Baca's nose bled, he took the child in his arms and started shouting, 'They assaulted my child,' while letting the blood flow onto the child."

'NO CRIME WILL GO UNPUNISHED'

Yalova Governor Ahmet Hamdi Usta visited the father and daughter in the hospital. In a statement made by the Yalova Governorship regarding the incident and the visit, it was stated that the incident stemmed from a long-standing disagreement between two neighbors living in the same apartment, and it was emphasized that "The incident, which has been portrayed on social media as if it occurred due to isolated and different motives, has occurred as a result of personal disputes based on the past. The argument that started between the two neighbors on the evening of February 20, 2026, quickly turned into a physical fight. The incident has been closely monitored by our Governorship since it occurred, and all necessary procedures have been carried out in coordination with the judicial authorities. Necessary precautions have been taken by units of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command to ensure the safety of life and property both in the hospital and in the Esenköy district. There is no threat to public safety as portrayed. Our citizens can be assured; our country is a rule of law state, and no crime or criminal will go unpunished," it was stated.

While the investigation regarding the incident continues, İkra Baca, whose treatment has been completed, was discharged.
