In the bribery investigation targeting Izmir's Seferihisar Municipality, Mayor İsmail Yetişkin and 19 suspects, who were detained, were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station.
The mayor Ismail Yetişkin and 19 suspects, detained in the bribery investigation against the Seferihisar Municipality of İzmir, were sent to the courthouse.
The procedures of 20 suspects detained by the İzmir Provincial Police Department Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch teams have been completed. Mayor Ismail Yetişkin and 19 suspects were transferred from the İzmir Provincial Police Department Yeşilyurt Service Building to the Seferihisar Courthouse.
INVESTIGATION
In the bribery investigation against the Seferihisar Municipality, detention orders were issued for 26 individuals, including Seferihisar Mayor Ismail Yetişkin, Balçova Mayor Onur Yiğit, Seferihisar Deputy Mayors N.H. and İ.K., and İzmir Metropolitan and Güzelbahçe Municipal Council Member D.B. In operations conducted on June 25 in İzmir, as well as in İstanbul, Adana, and Aydın, 25 suspects were detained.
MAYOR YIĞIT'S MOTHER RELEASED FROM POLICE
Among those detained, Balçova Mayor Yiğit's mother Meryem Yiğit and Ö.F.S. were released after their statements at the police station.
Balçova Mayor Onur Yiğit and İzmir Metropolitan and Güzelbahçe Municipal Council Member D.B. were released under judicial control in the form of house arrest, while another suspect was released after giving a statement at the prosecutor's office.
