In a supermarket in Eskişehir, S.T. assaulted a woman who was arguing with her husband. The thug grabbed the woman by her hair and punched her on the ground, and also hit a female and a male customer who tried to intervene. Following the public outcry over the footage, the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality announced that the attacker, who works for the municipality, would be fired and an investigation would be initiated against him.
A horror occurred at a market located on Gazi Yakup Satar Street in the Tepebaşı district of Eskişehir. The female customers in the market, D.T. and Ş.K., had an argument at the checkout. D.T.'s husband, S.T., also got involved in the incident and assaulted the other female customer, S.K. Later, he punched a female and male market employee who tried to intervene.
RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL
S.T., who was caught by the police teams called by the employees' report, was taken into custody. After giving his statement at the Eskişehir Police Department, S.T. was referred to the courthouse. After being interrogated by the prosecutor's office, S.T. was brought before the Peace Criminal Court and released under judicial control.

After the footage caused a significant reaction on social media, the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality released a statement announcing that the employee would be dismissed. In the statement, it was said, "We would like to inform the public about the footage reflecting violence against women captured by a market's security cameras. An investigation has been initiated regarding our personnel involved in the incident, who were wearing municipal work uniforms. According to the provisions of our collective labor agreement, the employment contract of personnel who commit violence against women will be terminated. He has been suspended from his duties during the investigation, and the outcome will be shared with the public."
