The conflicts between Iran and Israel are increasingly escalating. Israel has attacked the city of Salmas, located 32 kilometers from the Turkish border, hitting major cities in Iran. Drones were shot down by Iran's air defense systems.
A warm development occurred in the city of Salmas, located 32 kilometers from the Turkey-Iran border. Sources from the Iranian Ministry of Defense announced that they detected Israeli-made unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) preparing for an attack, and that the air defense systems stationed in the region shot down these vehicles.
ISRAELI SOURCES CONFIRMED
No official statement has yet been made by Israel regarding the issue. However, some security sources reported in the Israeli media claimed that UAVs were actively used in operations launched to target Iran's missile infrastructure. In this context, it was noted that some UAVs were planned to penetrate much deeper into Iranian territory, but encountered Iranian defenses along the Salmas line.
ISRAEL USES UAVs ON THE FRONT LINE
In the attack launched by Israel on June 13, UAVs were at the forefront. Israeli intelligence sources had stated that they established secret bases within Iran before the operation and launched explosive-carrying unmanned vehicles from these points. The aim was for these UAVs to make precise strikes on missile launchers and nuclear infrastructure, especially around Tehran.
