Details of the incident in Bayrampaşa, where two people lost their lives after falling from a height of 10 meters due to the breaking of a wire fence, have started to emerge.
THEY FELL DOWN WHEN THE WIRE THEY LEANED ON BROKE
The incident occurred around 01:15 at the bus parking lot of the 15 July Democracy Bus Station in Bayrampaşa. Two friends, Halil Doğan and Uğur Bolat, allegedly consumed alcohol while grilling in an area surrounded by wires on Ferhatpaşa Street. An incredible accident occurred when the two individuals leaned against the wires while trying to start the grill. As a result of the breaking of the wires, Halil Doğan and Uğur Bolat fell onto the concrete of the bus parking area from a height of approximately 10 meters.
ONE DIED AT THE SCENE, THE OTHER IN THE HOSPITAL
Those who witnessed the incident reported the situation to the police and medical teams. Upon notification, the medical teams dispatched to the scene determined that Uğur Bolat had died at the scene from head injuries. Halil Doğan, who was severely injured, unfortunately lost his life in the hospital despite all the interventions. Police teams cordoned off the area where the incident occurred for security measures. The lifeless bodies of the two deceased individuals were taken to the Forensic Medicine Morgue, and an investigation into the incident was initiated.
