An incident that drew attention occurred in the USA, where immigrants are being deported one after another. Kristi Noem, the Secretary of Homeland Security under President Donald Trump, reported an unbelievable event while inspecting a new immigrant camp located in Florida's Everglades region, nicknamed "Crocodile Alcatraz."
THE INCIDENT SHE REPORTED BECAME A TOPIC OF DISCUSSION IN THE COUNTRY
Noem used the following statements in her remarks, which quickly became a topic of discussion in the USA: "Federal officials working with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) told me. They had put a cannibal they caught on a plane. During the flight, while sitting in his seat, he started to eat himself. They immediately intervened, took him off the plane, and provided medical assistance."
Although no official report has been shared regarding the details of the incident, Noem's statements are thought to be used to emphasize that some of the deported individuals are 'extremely dangerous.' Noem concluded her remarks by saying, 'These kinds of people are roaming our streets. They exhibit such irrational behaviors that they are individuals who have no place in this country.'
THE OPERATION CENTER AT THE CENTER OF CONTROVERSIES
On the other hand, the immigrant camp, referred to as "Crocodile Alcatraz," was constructed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and was set up on the site of an old airbase in just 8 days. Built with an annual budget of approximately 450 million dollars, the facility consists of tents and caged sleeping areas.
The Trump administration plans to make this camp a symbol of mass deportation operations. Governor DeSantis stated that with the camp becoming operational, immigrants would be sent away quickly, and to expedite the process, the National Guard would be assigned as immigration judges.
