"WE STAND WITH ISRAEL WITH FULL FAITH"
Stating that they share Israel's pains, Modi said, "India stands with Israel with full faith now and in the future." Modi also expressed that his country supports the Abraham Accords and will promote regional peace and stability.
CORRIDOR FROM INDIA TO EUROPE
Referring to the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) project, Modi stated, "We are developing a sea and land corridor that will connect India to Haifa Port through the Arabian Peninsula and from there to the Mediterranean and Europe."
Claiming that India will soon become one of the three largest economies in the world, Modi highlighted Israel's leadership in technology and emphasized the strategic foundations of the partnership between the two countries.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Modi for his support for Israel. It was reported that Israeli lawmakers applauded Modi while standing during his speech.
PROTEST FROM THE OPPOSITION
Before Modi's speech, the Israeli opposition protested the special session by leaving the hall. According to reports in the Israeli press, the coalition led by Prime Minister Netanyahu did not invite Supreme Court President Yitzhak Amit, which was cited as one of the reasons for the protest.
It was claimed that the empty seats were filled by former lawmakers who were invited. Israeli Channel 12 announced that measures were taken to prevent the hall from appearing empty to avoid an international crisis.
KNESSSET MEDAL PRESENTED
The Knesset presented Indian Prime Minister Modi with a new medal called the "Knesset Medal." The Israeli press noted that this medal was awarded for the first time. It was stated that the medal symbolizes "gratitude for contributions to Israel and the Jewish people."
FIRST VISIT IN 9 YEARS
Modi, who last visited Israel in 2017, was welcomed with an official ceremony at Ben-Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. Modi is also expected to participate in an innovation summit during the visit, and it is reported that he will discuss a new "alliance axis" plan in the Mediterranean and the Middle East raised by Netanyahu.
On February 22, Netanyahu stated that the proposed alliance could include not only India but also some Arab and African countries, Greece, the Greek Cypriot Administration, and some Asian countries. Modi had also expressed his support for this initiative before the visit.
