Two individuals who were extorting money from passersby by blocking the road in Esenyurt were detained in an operation carried out by the police teams.

New developments have emerged regarding the robbery incident that took place in the Esenyurt district of Istanbul on July 27, 2025, which was shared on social media under the title "They blocked the road and extorted money." Teams from the Istanbul Police Department took action after identifying the suspects featured in the footage.

As a result of the investigations, two individuals were caught and detained along with the watch and wallet they had robbed. During searches conducted on the suspects, a stolen laptop belonging to another business was also seized. An investigation is ongoing regarding the minors who were referred to judicial authorities after their procedures at the police station.
