According to a report by the US press based on intelligence sources, it has been reported that Iran has cleared the debris from underground missile depots and silos hit by the US and Israel within hours, quickly bringing them back into operation.
The latest intelligence data from the U.S. contradicted President Donald Trump, who claimed that Iran's missile and drone capabilities had been "largely destroyed."
MISSILE DEPOTS ARE BEING MADE OPERATIONAL WITHIN HOURS
According to a report by the New York Times (NYT), one of the leading U.S. media outlets, based on intelligence sources, it was reported that Iran has quickly reactivated its underground missile depots and silos that were hit by the U.S. and Israel by clearing the debris.
It was noted that Iranian teams have made the targeted underground missile depots operational again within hours.
TEHRAN HAS A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF MISSILES
American intelligence also assessed that the Tehran administration possesses a significant amount of missiles and mobile missile launchers that have not been damaged.
The NYT report stated that this emerging picture raises doubts about how much Washington has actually achieved in its goal of destroying Iran's missile capabilities.
Furthermore, it was pointed out that due to the Iranian army's use of decoy targets, the Washington administration has not been able to be certain about how many missile launchers have been destroyed on the ground so far.
