A 28-year-old woman named Yonca Kölge was found stabbed to death in a hotel room in Bahçelievler, and the suspect, who checked into the hotel with her and later left alone, is being sought.
The body of Yonca Kölge (28), who was staying at a hotel in Bahçelievler, was found stabbed in her room. Police teams have initiated efforts to capture the suspect Salih B. (30), who was determined to have entered the hotel with Kölge and then left alone. It was also learned that the suspect who left the hotel has a criminal record for 'Intentional Injury.'
The incident occurred yesterday around 19:25 at a hotel in the Şirinevler neighborhood. According to allegations, Salih B. entered the hotel together with Yonca Kölge around 13:30 and went to room 305 after completing the check-in process at the reception. Later, Salih B. left the hotel alone around 17:55.
BODY FOUND IN HOTEL ROOM
On the other hand, a relative of Yonca Kölge, who had not heard from her for several hours, reported to the police. The teams that started working on the case identified the hotel where Kölge was staying in Bahçelievler. Upon this, police and medical teams who arrived at the scene found Yonca Kölge's body in the hotel room.
MURDER POSSIBILITY BEING CONSIDERED
Crime scene investigation teams working in the room where Yonca Kölge was found dead detected stab wounds on Kölge's body. After the teams evaluating the possibility of murder conducted their work, Yonca Kölge's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution's morgue for autopsy procedures.
EFFORTS TO CAPTURE THE SUSPECT CONTINUE
Additionally, it was determined that the suspect Salih B., who entered the hotel with Yonca Kölge and left alone approximately 4 hours and 25 minutes later, has numerous criminal records for 'Intentional Injury' and 'Theft.' Police teams have initiated efforts to capture Salih B. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
