An investigation has been initiated ex officio against CHP Chairman Özgür Özel for "publicly insulting a public official in relation to their duties" during his rally in Burdur, where he targeted members of the judiciary.
An investigation has been initiated ex officio by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Chairman of the Republican People's Party, Özgür Özel, due to his remarks targeting members of the judiciary during his speech at a rally held in Burdur, on the charge of 'publicly insulting a public official due to their duty.'
INVESTIGATION AGAINST ÖZGÜR ÖZEL
An ex officio investigation has been initiated against CHP Chairman Özgür Özel for the charge of "publicly insulting a public official due to their duty."
In a statement made by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that in a part of his speech at the rally organized by his party in Burdur, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel targeted members of the judiciary.
The statement reported that an ex officio investigation has been initiated against Özel due to the words he used, on the charge of "publicly insulting a public official due to their duty."
