In the interview, Trump stated that there are several "solutions" to end the attacks, and regarding how long it would take, he said, "It could go on for a long time and I could take over everything, or I could finish it in 2-3 days and tell the Iranians, 'If you start rebuilding (your nuclear and missile programs), we will talk again in a few years.'"

Trump shared the view that "In any case, it will take them a few years to get over this attack." He also provided explanations about why they initiated the attacks, stating that the primary reason was the failure of negotiations led by Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Trump said, "The Iranians got close to an agreement, then pulled back, came back and forth. I understood why they didn't want to agree." He pointed out that the second reason was Iran's behavior in recent years, stating, "Every month I saw them doing something bad, blowing something up, or killing someone."
Trump referred to his phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating, "I had a great conversation with Bibi."
